Welcome to Somewhere On A River and thank you for visiting my site. I am blessed to have enjoyed a lifetime of wandering in those special places that exist in our natural world with locations in Western Colorado and Eastern Utah like the Maroon Bells, Hanging Lake, Arches National Park and Canyonlands to explore. We spent the past few years on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska, and are now beginning our new ventures in southwestern New Mexico. Whatever the location, there is an abundance of incredible scenic resources to explore with each merely the starting point of further adventure that will become ingrained in your soul.
I have included a combination of images and descriptions from locations visited in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, California, the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska, and soon to be added, New Mexico. The collections are grouped by location and are updated regularly. I hope you enjoy the images I have included and maybe one will spur an emotional connection with a past experience of your own. For those that know the way, thank you for returning. For first time visitors, each branch holds bits from different destinations.
